Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of fancy places in Macau, but The Londoner actually caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. Walking into this place on the Cotai Strip, you’re immediately hit with this whole British colonial vibe that somehow doesn’t feel cheesy or forced. It’s like they took the grandest parts of London and cranked up the luxury dial without losing the charm. The lobby has this gorgeous atrium that stretches up forever, and honestly, I found myself just sitting there with my coffee longer than I needed to, watching the light change throughout the day.
What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed the details that most hotels completely miss. The rooms – and I mean this – are massive by Macau standards, with these incredible floor-to-ceiling windows that give you proper views of the Cotai skyline. I stayed on the 15th floor and could see all the way to the old city on clear days. The beds are ridiculously comfortable (I’m talking sink-in-and-disappear comfortable), and the bathrooms have these deep soaking tubs that I actually used every single night. You don’t usually get that kind of space in this part of town, where most places cram you into shoebox rooms and call it luxury. The service here is something else too – not that hovering, over-the-top kind of attention, but the staff genuinely seems to know what you need before you ask. Check-in was smooth even during Chinese New Year when everything else in Macau turns into chaos.
Here’s the thing though – location-wise, you’re right in the thick of everything on Cotai, which means easy access to all the casinos and shopping if that’s your scene, but it also means it can get pretty hectic outside, especially on weekends. The hotel itself stays surprisingly quiet once you’re inside, which I wasn’t expecting given how busy that stretch of Estrada do Istmo gets. Parking is handled by valet (which you’ll want because finding a spot yourself around there is basically impossible), and they’re quick about it. The restaurants inside are actually worth eating at – not just hotel food that’s passable – particularly their afternoon tea service, which feels authentically British without being stuffy. I mean, with a 9.7 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but this place genuinely lives up to the hype. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels both luxurious and livable, where you can actually relax instead of just Instagram your stay, The Londoner delivers in ways that surprised me.

I like the dedicated team attending to me from the moment I book my room to the day I depart the hotel.
Excellent service and I hope to stay the next time I am in Macau
What could be improved: Lighting can be brighter however it must be the concept so there’s nothing I don’t like about the hotel.Fauziah from Singapore – 18 May 2025 (10/10)
Everything from pre check in service to hotel service to customer service, amenities, buffet breakfast, tea time, cocktail time, room facilities, late check out till 3pm, limousine ride to airport
What could be improved: Only one. One finger food during tea time was wrongly tagged. It contained ham and the tag displayed written as containing salmon. I only eat seafood. Felt very disappointed this happened.Madeleine from Hong Kong – 13 December 2024 (10/10)
Super Delectable yummiest foods , no matter in residence court or cocktail bar.

The staff was absolutely astonishing! They are so polite and pleasant. From door staff to check in staff to the very well dressed lift lobby personnel, they really aim to provide a good service. Our housekeeping lady was professional and gave us an accurate time as to when we can return to our rooms to refresh ourselves.
Casino staff, of course, are very happy to greet us!
What could be improved: It is a bit hard to control the lighting in our rooms. Master switches are only on one side of the bed or at the door. Bathroom lighting is difficult to master as there are buttons for mood lighting and general lighting. Reading lights above the bed are also a bit confusing.Ms from Singapore – 7 June 2024 (10/10)
The service is super B, they upgrade me from normal suite to 2 rooms with breakfast for 4 adults 2 kids.
Celebrating birthday, the staff purposely come to decorate our room. Breakfast until 1pm. Only stay in this hotel I got experience to have late breakfast. So O dont have to wake up so early to enjoy breakfast.

Service was great from moment of stepping foot in Macau, got picked up with car and whisked to room. Celebrated my birthday there, delicious mango cake sent to room. And food quality was excellent at tea break, cocktails and breakfast.
What could be improved: It’s an experience, but everything is like a show. It gets a bit much (too rich?) sometimes – too in your face luxe- so one day is enough.Talal from Kuwait – 24 November 2023 (10/10)
