The thing about staying here is that you’re literally walking distance from some of Macau’s best shopping and dining, but when you retreat to your room, it’s this quiet sanctuary with those ridiculously comfortable beds and marble bathrooms that make you want to extend your stay. I mean, the butler service isn’t just for show – these folks actually remember your preferences and somehow anticipate what you need before you ask for it. The spa is tucked away on one of the upper floors, and honestly, booking a treatment there after a long day exploring the historic center of Macau is pretty much mandatory. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to genuinely know Macau – not just the tourist spots, but little things like which ferry times work best if you’re heading to Hong Kong, or where to find the best egg tarts that aren’t completely overrun with crowds.

The location really works in your favor because you’re close enough to walk to the Ruins of St. Paul’s when you want that cultural fix, but you can also hit the high-end shopping at Galaxy or Venetian without dealing with taxi hassles. Parking’s actually not a nightmare here either, which if you’ve driven around Cotai during peak times, you’ll know that’s saying something. The pool area gets busy around mid-afternoon, but early morning or evening swims are absolutely perfect – you get these views across the strip that make you realize why Macau’s become such a destination beyond just the casinos. With a 9.4 rating, you’d expect everything to be flawless, and while it’s pretty close, what really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both luxurious and livable at the same time.
