You can walk to some genuinely good local spots for congee and dim sum (there’s this place about three blocks down that locals actually go to), but you’re also close enough to the fancy shopping areas if that’s your thing. The breakfast buffet is solid – not groundbreaking, but they do a proper spread with both Western and Cantonese options. One thing though: if you’re planning to explore Macau, factor in that while you’re close to the border, the actual crossing still takes time with all the visa checks. The hotel’s 8.2 rating feels about right – it’s reliably good without being spectacular, which is sometimes exactly what you need when you’re dealing with travel logistics and want one less thing to worry about.
