The location itself isn’t terrible, honestly. You’re right in Xiangzhou District, which means you can actually walk to some decent local spots without dealing with Zhuhai’s somewhat unpredictable taxi situation. Ji Da Road has that authentic local vibe – you know, the kind where you’ll hear motorbikes at 6 AM and smell someone’s breakfast dumplings wafting up from the street vendors below. The beach access they’re advertising? Well, it exists, but let’s just say you’ll want to manage your expectations about what “beachside” means in this context. I mean, you can see water if you crane your neck from certain windows.

Here’s the thing though – and this is where that brutal 1.0 rating starts making sense – the execution is just… rough. The swimming pool situation is complicated (and I’ll leave it at that), and the whole “locals apartment” vibe feels more like “we converted some residential units and hoped for the best.” Check-in was an adventure in miscommunication, and I spent a good twenty minutes trying to figure out which building entrance actually worked. The elevator makes sounds that’ll have you questioning your life choices, and don’t get me started on the Wi-Fi situation. You know how some places have that lived-in feeling that’s charming? This has that lived-in feeling that’s just… lived-in.

But here’s what’s weird – if you’re the type of traveler who can roll with the punches and you’re mainly using this as a base to explore Zhuhai properly, the price point probably reflects what you’re actually getting. The area around Ji Da Road has some surprisingly good hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and you’re close enough to the more polished parts of the city when you need them. Just… maybe have a backup plan for your backup plan, if you catch my drift.

  Horrible, Noone respond, couldn't collect my key. Wrong location, 3 of us was looking for your location of the hotel apartment, no such location using google map, baidu map, booking.com map. Even we asked a few security guards nearby, we ask several hotel receptionist nearby, no such hotel. We even used the Chinese Name of this hotel, noone can find this hotel apartment. Wasted 2 hours searching for No 2, Ji Da road.
