The location is absolutely perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying on your own little island without actually being stranded anywhere. It sits right on Nam Van Lake, which honestly gives you this peaceful water view that’s pretty rare in Macau – most places you’re either looking at casinos or construction sites. The hotel itself has that sleek, modern vibe that screams five-star, but it doesn’t feel stuffy or pretentious about it.

The thing about staying here is you get the best of both worlds. You’re technically on the peninsula, so getting around is actually really easy – I mean, you can walk to the historic center in about fifteen minutes if you’re feeling ambitious, or just grab a quick taxi ride to the main casino strip. But when you come back at night, it feels like you’re retreating to this calm oasis away from all the flashing lights and crowds. The staff really knows their stuff too; check-in was smooth and they seemed to anticipate questions before I even asked them. The rooms are spacious (which is saying something for Macau), and those lake views from the higher floors are genuinely beautiful, especially around sunset when the water catches all these golden reflections.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail – like, the bathroom amenities were actually good quality, not just fancy packaging around cheap stuff. The beds are properly comfortable, and you know how hotel air conditioning can be hit or miss? Well, this one actually worked perfectly. I also appreciated that it never felt overly crowded or chaotic in the lobby, even during peak tourist season. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me because while everything was genuinely excellent, it’s not trying to be the flashiest or most over-the-top option in town. It’s more like… sophisticated and reliable? If you’re someone who wants a really solid luxury experience without all the casino hotel madness, this is definitely worth considering. Plus, parking was surprisingly hassle-free, which anyone who’s driven in Macau will tell you is not something to take for granted.

  Great location and all the amenities needed for a family of 4. Newish hotel and more shops should be opening within the hotel grounds. Staff were very helpful esp the Filipinos as the other staffs were not very well versed in English.
  It was a big birthday celebration and they upgraded us to the top floor with amazing views, so we were very happy
