You know what struck me first about The Parisian Macao? It’s not just another themed casino hotel trying too hard to be something it’s not. I mean, sure, they’ve got the whole Paris thing going on – there’s literally a half-scale Eiffel Tower right there – but somehow it actually works. Walking up from the Cotai Strip, you can spot that tower from way down the road, and honestly, it’s pretty impressive even when you’re expecting it. The whole facade has this sort of Belle Époque elegance that doesn’t feel completely ridiculous in Macau’s already over-the-top landscape.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed the details inside. The lobby genuinely reminds me of those grand Parisian hotels (I’ve been to a few), with all that ornate molding and those massive chandeliers, but without making you feel like you’re trapped in some weird theme park. The rooms are actually spacious – which is saying something for Macau – and the beds are properly comfortable, not just pretty to look at. I stayed on the 15th floor facing the tower, and you know what? Waking up to that view never got old, even after four days. The bathroom situation is solid too, with one of those deep soaking tubs that you’ll actually want to use after walking around Cotai all day.

Here’s the thing though – location matters a lot in this part of Macau, and The Parisian really nailed it. You’re connected to The Venetian through these covered walkways, which is clutch when it’s raining (and it rains a lot). Getting to the ferry terminal is straightforward, maybe fifteen minutes in a taxi, and the hotel shuttle runs pretty regularly if you don’t want to deal with the fare. The casino floor can get pretty intense on weekends – I’m talking packed with tour groups and serious gamblers – but the hotel elevators are separate enough that you’re not fighting through crowds just to get to your room. One small thing that impressed me: the staff at check-in actually seemed to know what they were doing, no fumbling around with the system or making you wait forever while they figure things out. Sometimes it’s the simple stuff that makes the biggest difference when you’re jet-lagged and just want to drop your bags.

  Great location, nice view, shuttle bus to bus hub pretty frequently. There's food-court on the upper floors, less busy compared to Venetian hotel's food-court.

  The location is good, many shopping places and food around the hotel. The room is spacious. The staff provides fast and good service. Travelling to main city is convenient using taxi or shuttle bus.
