The Londoner Macao Overview
First Impressions
Walking into The Londoner Macao honestly feels like stepping through a portal — you’re suddenly in this elaborate Victorian fantasy that somehow works perfectly in Macau. The whole place is designed around this British theme, but it’s not cheesy or overdone like you might expect. I mean, they’ve got red double-decker buses and Big Ben replicas, yet it all feels genuinely luxurious rather than gimmicky. This five-star resort sits right in the heart of Cotai, and you can tell from the moment you arrive that they’ve invested serious money into making this concept work.
The Cotai Strip Experience
The location is actually incredible — you’re right on the Cotai Strip where all the major action happens, but The Londoner manages to feel like its own little world. You can walk to other major casinos and shopping centers in minutes, which couples especially seem to love (and honestly, I get why they rated the location so highly). The whole Cotai area has this energy that’s different from the older parts of Macau — it’s newer, shinier, and everything feels designed for entertainment. What’s nice is that you get all that excitement right outside your door, but the hotel itself provides plenty of reasons to stay put.
Accommodations and Amenities
The room here is genuinely impressive — spacious, well-appointed, and they’ve managed to incorporate the British theme without making it feel like you’re sleeping in a museum. Each room has these thoughtful touches that show they understand what luxury travelers actually want. The resort has multiple pools, a spa that’s worth spending time in, and honestly more dining options than you could try in a week. Parking is available on-site, which might seem like a small thing but it’s actually pretty convenient given how busy this area gets.
Dining and Entertainment
Breakfast here is something else — they’ve got this massive buffet setup with Continental, Full English, Asian, and American options all laid out beautifully. You know what I really appreciated? They actually do a proper English breakfast, not some watered-down version. The restaurant options throughout the property range from casual to seriously upscale, and the British pub they’ve created feels surprisingly authentic. Beyond dining, there’s a casino (obviously), shopping areas, and entertainment venues that keep things interesting without feeling overwhelming.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.7 rating isn’t just numbers — this place delivers on the luxury experience while being genuinely fun. The British theme could have been a disaster, but they’ve executed it with enough sophistication that it works for both families and couples looking for something special. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing, the facilities are top-notch, and the location puts you right where you want to be in Macau. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend your entire trip without feeling like you’re missing out on anything — and honestly, with everything they’ve packed into this resort, you probably wouldn’t be.
The concierge service in Macau arranges private gaming salons, chef-led Portuguese tastings, and helicopter transfers over the Pearl River Delta.

The staff was absolutely astonishing! They are so polite and pleasant. From door staff to check in staff to the very well dressed lift lobby personnel, they really aim to provide a good service. Our housekeeping lady was professional and gave us an accurate time as to when we can return to our rooms to refresh ourselves.
Casino staff, of course, are very happy to greet us!Ms from Singapore (10/10)

Service was great from moment of stepping foot in Macau, got picked up with car and whisked to room. Celebrated my birthday there, delicious mango cake sent to room. And food quality was excellent at tea break, cocktails and breakfast.

The opulence of the whole place was stunning. Your wonderful staff at Guest Services and at the Residence restaurant were all so sincere and helpful. They have to tolerate the rudeness of some of the Chinese guests from Mainland China who were unappreciative and rough on them.
Housekeeping staff were also very helpful and efficient. They served from the heart with a genuine smile. Well done!Alfred from Hong Kong (10/10)
A working example of a best service oriented hotel in the Region with the best service and management team I have ever experienced in the past 30 years.

Everything is perfect, clean and comfortable room, delicious and delicate food and beverage, hospitable staff. Special thanks to Eva and Vangen Qi, who arranged car services for us. Definitely will stay in Londoner again.
