The beds are comfortable enough, and the bathrooms are clean and functional, though don’t expect cutting-edge design. What I really liked was the balcony view — you’re either looking at the beach or the hotel’s gardens, both of which beat staring at concrete towers. The air conditioning works well (crucial in Macau’s humidity), and the Wi-Fi is reliable throughout the property.

The breakfast spread is actually quite impressive for a boutique property — they do Continental, Asian, American, and buffet options, so there’s something for everyone. The hotel restaurant serves decent Portuguese-Macanese fusion, though I’d recommend exploring some of the local places in Coloane village too (it’s just a short walk). There’s a small pool area that’s perfect for cooling off after a beach day, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable rather than just going through the motions.

Here’s the thing — this isn’t a flashy resort, and that’s precisely its appeal. Recent guests rate the location 8.5, and I totally get it. You’re away from the casino crowds but still connected to everything Macau offers. The ferry to Hong Kong is about 20 minutes away, and you can reach the main tourist areas in roughly the same time.   The atmosphere surrounding by nature and good people most staff there are Filipinos from the restaurant to housekeeping most all of them are Filipinos that was awesome and I love the most.

  Lovely old hotel with lots of quaint touches, great views and friendly staff. Dinner was good, also possible to walk to Fernando's, which is recommended. Not as remote as some other reviews suggest, it is straightforward to get to/from the city by bus, and when we called a taxi to get to the ferry terminal it was no problem. Definitely a great pick if you want some peace away from the bus city or casino strip.

  We had a great stay in the hotel. Excellent location (less than 10mins walk to the bus stop), beautiful Seaview from the balcony. The breakfast was tasty. The staff were friendly too.
