I mean, you’ll hear some street sounds (it’s Macau, not a monastery), but nothing that kept me awake. The narrow streets mean you’re walking everywhere, which I loved, but fair warning if you’re the type who needs to park right at your hotel door. Actually, forget about driving here altogether – the streets weren’t designed for cars, and you’ll spend more time lost than sightseeing. The buses are frequent though, and honestly, walking through these old neighborhoods is half the fun of staying somewhere like this. For the price point and that 8.3 rating, it makes complete sense – this isn’t luxury, but it’s solid, authentic, and puts you right where you want to be to actually experience Macau rather than just photograph it.
