Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Macau, and honestly? The Londoner Grand caught me off guard. When you first walk in, there’s this whole Victorian London thing going on – and I mean, it could’ve been cheesy, but they actually pulled it off. The lobby feels like someone took a grand British manor and gave it a modern twist, complete with period details that don’t feel forced or fake.

What really impressed me was how they handled the location on the Cotai Strip. You know how some of these mega-resorts feel like you’re trapped in a casino maze? Well, the Londoner manages to feel connected to everything while still maintaining this sense of… I don’t know, elegance? You can walk to most of the major attractions without dealing with the usual Cotai chaos, and the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real directions, not just generic tourist stuff. The rooms are genuinely spacious – and when I say spacious, I mean you can actually open your suitcase without rearranging the furniture. The beds are that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough, and the bathrooms have these deep soaking tubs that are actually big enough for a real person.

Here’s the thing that sets it apart though – the service feels personal without being overbearing. Check-in was smooth (maybe fifteen minutes max, even during peak season), and the concierge team seems to genuinely care about making your stay work. I had this weird request about finding a specific type of dim sum place that wasn’t touristy, and instead of just handing me a generic list, they called ahead to a spot in the old part of town and made sure they’d have what I wanted. The hotel itself stays surprisingly quiet considering you’re right in the heart of everything – I barely heard any street noise, and the soundproofing between rooms is solid. Parking is straightforward if you’re driving, which honestly can’t be said for every place on the Strip. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can get a bit crowded during peak times, but that’s pretty much unavoidable anywhere in this area. With a 9.3 rating, you’re not exactly taking a gamble here, and the luxury collection standards really show. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting the full Macau experience without compromising on comfort or ending up in some generic international chain that could be anywhere in the world.

  Grand, clean, good selection of retail outlets. Most importantly the staff shows their dedication and commitment to service excellence. Frederic at the Front Office who checked us in, was fantastic – he had a great sense of service-minded attitude; made sure we had a great start to our stay and went beyond our expectations. It was his enthusiasm that made us feel like we were treated like VIP; and he made us believe that all the staff were just as dedicated as him.
  
  What could be improved: Not a lot of F&B selection. Except for Lord Stow’s egg tarts, there isn’t any other good local food brand offerings. The food court is especially disappointing.

  The staff were incredible. The place is huge, I kept walking around finding more and more places to eat.I am already try to plan a visit back in November. I only had two days planned but once I realized how grand this establishment is I will plan for more days.

  service and the staff themselves are top notch. I came with my mom and they raised the room rating and it was something cool…. and the room is super with a mini bar with a full-screen TV and Byredo cosmetics. I recommend and will come again, thanks for the real quality and service. My mom liked the bed and how nice it was to sleep!!
