I was on the 8th floor and it was surprisingly quiet at night, even with Taipa’s mix of construction and traffic below. The bathroom’s modern enough, good water pressure, though the shower’s a bit cramped if you’re tall. Here’s the thing though – the location is actually genius if you know Taipa. You’re walking distance to those excellent Portuguese restaurants along Rua do Cunha, and there’s a local market nearby where you can grab actual snacks instead of overpriced hotel convenience store stuff. Plus, if you’re planning to hit both the Cotai Strip casinos and venture into old Macau, you’re perfectly positioned between both worlds.

Look, this isn’t going to be your Instagram luxury hotel moment, but that 8.5 rating makes total sense once you stay there. It’s one of those places that just works – everything functions, the value is solid, and you’re not paying extra for amenities you probably won’t use anyway. The neighborhood has this nice mix of local life and tourist accessibility that’s getting harder to find in Macau. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night because, well, why complicate things when you’ve found a good base? If you’re the type who spends most of your time exploring rather than lounging in your room, and you want to experience Macau without the resort bubble feeling, this spot delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises.

  Great location near Taipa Grande Natural Park and Ecological pond of Wetland. We even walk to the airport. It's very easy to find food near by, great Portuguese and Canton restaurants. Value for money.
