Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first pulled up to the Four Seasons in Cotai, I wasn’t prepared for how massive this place actually is – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how some luxury hotels feel stuffy and intimidating? This one doesn’t. The lobby has this incredible natural light pouring in, and there’s something about the way they’ve designed the space that makes you feel relaxed immediately, even after dealing with Macau’s crazy traffic getting there.
What really got me was the attention to detail once I settled in. The rooms are spacious (genuinely spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious), and you can actually see the Cotai Strip from most of them – which is pretty spectacular at night when everything lights up. The bathroom alone is bigger than some hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, with this soaking tub that I’ll admit I used every single day. But here’s what they don’t tell you in the typical reviews: the service feels effortless. Like, the staff somehow remembers your name after one interaction, and they genuinely seem to enjoy helping you figure out where to grab the best dim sum nearby (skip the tourist traps and ask them – they know).
The location is actually perfect if you want to experience both sides of Macau. You’re right in the heart of Cotai, so you can walk to most of the big casinos and shopping if that’s your thing, but you’re also close enough to hop in a taxi and be in historic Macau Peninsula in fifteen minutes. I spent one morning just wandering around Taipa Village – maybe a ten-minute ride – eating egg tarts and exploring the old colonial streets, then came back to the hotel’s spa in the afternoon. That kind of flexibility is rare. The pool area, by the way, is where you want to be around sunset. It gets busy during Chinese holidays (fair warning), but most other times you can actually find a decent spot to relax without feeling like you’re at a crowded beach resort. The water’s heated year-round, which matters more than you’d think during Macau’s surprisingly cool winter months.

Much appreciated for the Four Seasons team that helped me to arrange a honeymoon set up for me and my wife special day, it was very unfortunate that I got really sick during my stay. The staffs were super thoughtful by sending more mineral waters, sending a warm congee to my room and offered me to buying some paracetamol.Thomas from Taiwan (9/10)
