Walking distance to decent restaurants that aren’t tourist traps, and the hotel concierge can point you toward the better dim sum places nearby (trust them on this). The 8.2 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works the way it should, the service is attentive without being hovering, and you wake up feeling like you’re somewhere special rather than just another international hotel.
